I chose to do my project on Social networking: a purposeful loss of privacy. Nowadays, social networking has become popular tool to keep in touch with our friends and people. However, there are some advantages and disadvantages about social networking and a purposeful loss of privacy. Sharing the moments of our life on social media we also losing the privacy of our life. But social networking also impacted our life with good things. For example, a lot of people, basically bloggers and celebrities are making money through social media sites. So it also helped some businesses and individuals to grow. In this project I will go over advantages and disadvantages about social networking, how it is impacting our life and what would be a future of social networking.

    In this blog I am going to write about a creativeness which new media allows us to do. As an example, I chose to talk about virtual platform "Second Life". Second Life is an online environment that created by Linden Lab a company based in San Francisco. Second Life is a virtual community that allows people to create their avatars and design them which represents themselves within virtual world. In the Second Life you are basically able to design your life, land, house, avatar and etc. This is a creative way of using new media.
